An aim of the majors of school education, curriculum education and school nursing training is to turn out teachers with sophisticated knowledge, insight, and practical abilities as well as the expertise which is necessary for contributing to the improvement of regional culture, by addressing the advancing and diversifying school education and by conducting overall academic studies and education in various academic fields that are closely related to theory and practice in the educational area.
The school clinical psychology major aims at turning out human resources that can effectively advance educational and clinical approaches in response to issues of academic education related to children’s growth development and training for supporting it, including responding to bullying, nonattendance, and special educational needs. This major is mainly targeting teachers in-service at elementary, junior, and senior high schools, and members of society.
